In order to protect your dog’s welfare, I have a cut off temperature of 23° for full walks. This temperature may be lowered depending on factors such as your individual dog, where we can walk and the time of day.

For those of you with older dogs, flat-faced breeds, thick-coated dogs, those carrying a little extra weight, or those with heart or lung problems, I am particularly cautious about the impact of heat and may suggest alternatives to our usual schedule regardless.

My Hot Weather Policy is in place when temperatures reach 20 degrees Celsius, according to the BBC Weather App. This is when the cancellation policy below comes into effect.

Cancelled Walks:

Where walks are cancelled by me, and no alternative is provided, you will receive a full refund or the option to roll any fees over to our next booking. If you decide not to take up the drop-in alternative, but it is an appropriate option, the full cost of the walk is still required to be paid. 

Toilet Break Only: 

Where a full drop-in service is not appropriate, i.e., you work from home, but I still take your dog for a "toilet" walk, you will only be charged my short walk fee of £10. 

Full Drop-in Service: 

The full drop-in service replaces your normal walk and is charged at the rate of said walk, i.e. £20 for one dog, £25 for 2 dogs of the same household.
